John Singer Sargent is a master Realist painter from the era of Impressionism and his work has always been an inspiration to me. I hand-crafted brushes for Procreate that help achieve the same look.
The Sargent’s Oils pack features 14 custom brushes with realistic brush shapes and a seamless fabric canvas texture. Most brush tips were created with actual paint brushes—I painted strokes on canvas and then scanned them in at a high resolution. All brushes feature the same fabric canvas texture for consistency, like you’re working on the same canvas no matter which tool you use. The canvas texture is similar in appearance to the canvases that Sargent used.
A short description of each brush is in the product images to help you get a feel for how the tools can be used. Both master studies I painted in the preview images were created using every brush in the pack.

Hojung Lee –
I just bought the brush and it looks magnificent. But I kinda just hope maybe you can share a video or some tutorial on how you used the brush to create your wonderful pieces
Annabel Smith –
Hey Hojung,
It’s great to hear that you love these brushes! Thanks so much for your suggestion, and we will happily pass this on to the designer to see if they would consider including something similar for you in future :).

Is there products that will work with the android version of procreate, like adobe illustration draw?
Annabel Smith –
Thanks for commenting Kimberly.
These particular brushes have been created specifically for Procreate, and so will not work in Adobe Illustration Draw. We do not work with Draw ourselves, however I have double checked some dedicated Adobe forums, and it appears that Draw currently does not actually include a feature to allow you to import any additional brushes to the standard ones included in the app. My sincerest apologies for any disappointment caused!

Hello there, I might have missed it, but is this brush pack compatible with procreate pocket? If not, will it be made available?
Annabel Smith –
Thanks so much for commenting William!
According to Procreate’s own support section, Procreate Pocket 2 should be able to work with any Procreate brush files, so I hope that you will get great use out of these :).
We do not work with Procreate Pocket ourselves, so I am unable to confirm if this will definitely work for you, however I would be happy for purchase the pack and test this out to see if these are useful for you. If you do not find these are quite right for your projects, simply let me know within 30 days of your purchase and I would be more than happy to refund you!

I don’t have Procreate, but how wonderful to see a tool like this created for it – beautiful work!
Annabel Smith –
Thanks so much for your comment Julianna and it really means so much to us to hear that you really enjoy the variety of design software compatibility that these designers work with- that’s so sweet of you to say :)
